Outlook Express

Watch a video tutorial to Set up your Email account/s in Outlook Express

Microsoft Outlook 2003 / 2007 and other applications

To setup your new Google apps email in all other applications, please follow these steps listed below. If you have any issues, just give us a call!

Setup Google apps email on your computer

  •  Go to this Gmail Help section  and select the mail application you use. If you are unsure, you can click Help, then About from the top menu to find out.
  • Once in the guide, click Skip step 1 “Enable POP” as this is on by default.
  • Click the “2. Configure” link for the setup guide and follow all of the steps.
  • Once your details are entered, try a send and receive to ensure all settings are working.
  • Once things seem to be in order with sending and receiving, we need to make last change...
  • By default Google apps email will save a copy of your SENT mail in your Webmail. This is great as you can access your sent email from anywhere. HOWEVER, this may turn up in your Inbox on your mail application. If this is the case, you will need to Setup a Mail Rule to move sent messages to another folder - view details on configuring mail rules here.

Access your email from more than 1 computer

  •  We recommend setting your email up the ONE computer that you use the most and to use Webmail to access your email from anywhere else. To access your Webmail, just type http://webmail.YOURDOMAIN.co.nz, then login using your email address and password.
  • If you are certain you need email on MORE than one computer, regular POP email (as you are probably using now) might not be right for you. Please give us a call to discuss your email options.

  • The same amazing Webmail as Gmail
  • IMAP Email (complete email syncing between computers)
